New Trash/Refuse Collection Contract Awarded

Effective July 1, Reese's Sanitation will begin trash collection service for Indian Lake Borough under the terms of a new contract awarded by Council on Wednesday, June 22nd.

Trash collection will remain on Monday mornings, beginning around 5:00 a.m.  Since the first Monday in July is the 4th, holiday arrangements apply and service will actually begin Tuesday, July 5th.

The agreement calls for curb-side or back-door pick up at the same rate; $10.87 per month for 2011-2012.  This represents a savings of nearly $20 per quarter and no premium for back-door service.  Back-door pickup is by specific and advance arrangement only.  Commercial and dumpster rates are also available at a fixed low rate.

Reese's Sanitation can be contacted at customerservice@reesessanitation.com or reesessanitation@mindspring.com, or by calling 814-324-4498.
